This “BHM” edition of the Nike Kyrie 2 features a Black base with multicolor accents on the laces, strap and even on the two-toned outsole. Other details include the “BHM” badge on the back heel, and a patch on the insole that reads “The Power of One.” A festive array of colors hit the inverted strap on the Kyrie 2 in honor of Black History Month while a unique pattern lands on the midtop’s upper. The midsole will undoubtedly remind you of other Nike Basketball models in the past like the Nike Hyperfuse 2014 while the strap is reminiscent of the immensely popular Nike KD 4. This special edition sees a multi-color array on the laces, strap, and even a two-toned outsole for good measure.
The Black History Month collection honors and celebrates Black heritage, in sport and beyond, around the world while also providing financial support to Nike’s Ever Higher Fund, which was created to bring mentorship, sport and all of its benefits to African American youth. Nike is proud to support numerous national and local organizations that provide services to underrepresented youth, including African American youth, during the year, through community development, coaching, city league sport programs, and early childhood development programs. Long-time partners include the Jackie Robinson Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, National Head Start and Coach Across America.
